Black glass goblets and old bottles are great props for Halloween parties. They are mysterious, spooky, and enhance the party fun. Etch goblets & bottles with clever wording, like Vampire Blood, Eye of Newt, Poison, etc with eerie designs to go with it, like skulls, bats, witches. you can put a different fright word on each goblet so the guests will know which glass is theirs.

Materials

  • 15-0200 Armour Etch Glass Etching Cream
  • 20-0465 Halloween Rub N Etch Stencil
  • Halloween Font Name stencil- BEWARE (Made to Order online)
  • 61-3328 White Rub N Buff

Preparation and Usage Starting Skills

Project Steps

  1. Peel off paper backing from backside of Halloween Name stencil, making sure all cut pieces remain intact to the top cover sheet. Apply stencil sticky side down about a ½" from the top of the goblet, smoothing out stencil as you go. Please read instructions that come with your stencil order.
  2. Apply strips of masking, tape around stencil.
  3. Etch with Armour glass Etching cream.
    • Image will be hard to see at this point because of the black glass, do not panic.
  4. Tear off a piece of paper towel and wrap around your finger. Apply a small dab of white Rub N Buff to the towel. Wipe Rub N Buff over etchings. Turn towel around and wipe off the excess RNB from the goblet.
