Project Steps
- After preparing the glass, position the hearts on each mug as shown, Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the mugs.
- This design was etched in stages. The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
- Looking through the back of the glass, position the words and small hearts as close as possible to the large hearts already on the glass. Use the etching cream, as before, to add these to the mugs.
- Looking through the back of the glass, position any remaining design elements on the mugs. Use the etching cream again to etch these onto the mugs.
