Project Steps

1. This design was etched in stages. The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
2. After preparing the glass, position the Claddagh across the top of the glass heart. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the Claddagh onto the glass.
3. Place the shamrock banner along the side of the glass lid. Use the etching cream, as before, to etch the shamrocks along the side of the lid. Repeat this process to etch shamrocks along the other side of the lid.
