Project Steps

1. After preparing the glass, use a grid mat and a China pencil to mark the centerlines on the back of the glass. Top to bottom and then left to right across the middle.
2. Turn the glass so the lines are on the back of the glass. Looking through the front of the vases to the back, center a Celtic knot on one and a floral heart on the other over the intersecting lines on the back.
3. Stack the remaining letters centered above and below the stencil on the glass. Use the lines on the back as a guide. Please note- to etch the words all at once, requires 2 stencil sheets of the letters. Otherwise, etch the second M & D after the first have been completed.
4. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the design onto the glass.
