Project Steps

1. After preparing the glass, use the hover and press method to position the cupcake bottom as low on the oval as possible. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the cake onto the glass.
• This design was etched in stages. The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
2. Use hover and press to position the chosen frosting design over the cupcake bottom. Add sprinkles if desired and press down firmly. Use the etching cream, as before, to etch the top onto the cupcake.
3. Hover and press again to place 3 small cupcakes over the large one. Use the etching cream again to etch these onto the oval.
