- This design was etched in stages. The technique allows you to use a particular stencil image, like these horseshoes, multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously.
- After preparing the glass, Place the pinstripe tape down one side of the glass near the edge. On one or more, cut across the stripes and take out a section of the stripes large enough to fit a horseshoe.
- Cut a fence out of the blank sheet and place it next to the stripes on the glass as shown i the picture.
- Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the onto the glass.
- Turn the glass over so the stripes run down the left of the glass on the back.
- Place horseshoe stencils in the gaps on the stripes where there is one and anywhere on the stripes if there is not.
- Place a horse stencil next to the stripes.
- Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the onto the glass.
- Starting at the center of one side of the coaster, glue a piece of the twine all along the edge of the glass.
- Attach the flat silver embellishments over the spot where the twine ends meet.
